Hi Teddybear,

Sat reading your letter, my daughter in a wheel chair, can only manage to walk about 5 metres on Morphine 4 times a day received her letter saying that she was able to walk and the dsame statement as yours. She went to see her Doctor who told her within 2 years she will not be able to walk one step. Face to face assessment said"I can see you cannont walk, so stay in the chair, then like your statement has miraculously recovered. We are now awaiting the Mandatory " for got the rest. Her car will be going in 10 days, so she will be confined between 4 walls.
:woohoo:

Were you able to ascertain the logic behind this, and wondering if you eventually managed to get the award fully backdated.

This is not a discussion topic, Amber has not visited the forum for over two months.

Not very recent but it has the detail you mention...we hadn't noticed until you asked. Award letter dated 31 Dec 2014 says PIP awarded until 14 Dec 2018. Over the page it says they will contact us after 14 Dec 2017 "to make sure you are receiving the right level of PIP".
The award ..converted from DLA....was made without a face to face assessment or any phone calls because it's for a mental health problem. And because I followed your excellent advice and sent every scrap of paper evidence I could muster! So we don't know if ATOS or Capita was involved.
Keep up the good work...Id be in pieces if it wasn't for your guides.
