If the destination is somewhere you know well and not very far away, (eg the chippy around the corner), why would you need to plan the route?

Planning and following a route are separate activities.

There is no requirement for you to be able to be able to follow a route that you have planned. For example; someone with agoraphobia might be able to plan a route, but not then follow it because of their condition.

You can however argue that you could not follow a route if you were unable to plan one, this would almost certainly be the case for an unfamiliar route, but it would likely be a lot more difficult to argue that it was the case for a familiar one, although not impossible, for example you only know one way to the familiar location and that route was not available to use on the day.

One more time for me please Gordon!

Even though DWP made a Decision to give O points for the PIP claim, do we carry on receiving our DLA. if we decided to appeal - up to taking it as far as we need (MR/Upper Tribunal/Cameron) to get a final decision?

Thank you.

Hi k,

Your current DLA payments will continue until 4 weeks after the date of the fresh PIP decision, whatever that PIP decision may be.

This will be the case irrespective of whether you have an Indefinite or Life DLA Award !

Irrelevant of the PIP Decision, even if 0 Points, your DLA payments will cease 4 weeks after the date of the PIP decision.

i.e. DLA payments will not continue any longer even if you request an MR/Appeal of the PIP decision.

I've read on this forum that if someone else typed up your PIP form, to make sure DWP know so that they don't make the wrong assumptions.

I had a few people helping me fill the PIP form and another lady typed it all up nicely. I can't think how to put that and I don't want to drag this lady into this dragnet big brother system by naming her. Do I have to say who helped me? Getting in such a twist how to word this. Help please!

This feels such a minor matter when I read on this websit of the horrendous things people are being put through.
