You don't need to post your questions more than once, all posts are moderated and will take some time to appear in the forum.
Most claimants will hear about whether a face to face assessment is required or not in 2-3 weeks.

Please help .
Hi F,
We have not had much negative feedback regarding Home Assessments other than the Assessor turning up early, late, or not at all !!
You can choose the room that it is to take place in, and the Assessor should not need to see any other rooms, and cannot insist on doing so.
You can of course point them towards any aids/adaptations that you use, if you wish.
You can have someone else present for support and they can take notes.
You can read what to expect from around Page 69 of our : PIP Claims Guide. (2nd Link down the page)
The following may help further :
An insight into how the PIP Assessor fills in The PA4 Medical Report : Here.
The latest version of : The PIP Assessment Guide which was updated on 28th July 2015.
Good luck and please return here to let us know how it went !!

We have now got the information and reports we need about your condition and how it affects you for your claim to pip
We're sorry it's taken longer than expected to give you a decision on your claim but we'll contact you as soon as we've made a decision.
Is this a standard letter and someone else I know received the same and few weeks later they were awarded nothing .
Do you think it is bad news .

It's standard letter, the back end of the PIP process has slowed down considerably since the New Year and Decisions are now taking 8+ weeks where they were usually less than 2.
It is not a reflection of any Decision that might be made.
