about the tribunal adjournment
she said I could go onto income support now not claim esa and when the new date for tribunal comes through leave the tribunal run . As since may I have been only on reduced money .
I'm tempted as my life and head as been upside down with pip and esa since dec 2015 nine and half month's now seems never ending
?

Have they explained the on what basis you would be able to claim Income Support, it's not a straight replacement for ESA you can only make a claim if you meet specific criteria.

hello Gordon
yes I qualify
if I get awarded esa I will hopefully receive the back pay since may as I wasn't paid anything at all for10 weeks and then only on reduced pay until decision is made .

I received the letter today
new esa tribunal date 12 th oct . I was ill last time didn't attend even though I asked them to to finish the stress they didn't go ahead . A bit worried as to why they didn't ?

its got to the stage that when a letter comes through the door I go into a bit of a panic ?
every night I wake up threw the night its on my mind and in the morning its never off my mind I cant concentrate on anything a bit mad really .does anyone else get this
thank you

I think most members would confirm that the anxiety is normal for the situation.

They've asked you to attend because they want to ask you questions about your problems, this does not mean that they are questioning your entitlement, just that they feel they cannot make the best Decision without seeing you.

thank you gordon
with all that's gone on since December 2015 ten months now it wares you down it changes you as a person
things get to you that wouldn't normally give a second thought

I just thought by them having all my medical reports drs letters and me being i'll it wouldn't make a difference seeing me .
the only thing they can judge is my appearance ?
anyway i'll attend and see what happens

why don't they give you a medical examination initially . check your breathing on a machine and heart scan body scan to prove in my case i'm i'll ?
instead of me trying to convince them what the hospitals and drs have already proven to them .

I can fully understand why people who have no support from family harm them self
very very hard time they give you they ought to be held accountable for stress and lies . if a tribunal award you a benefit surely it means that the person who took it away was wrong ?

I wonder how many people have had the money stopped by the same capita or asos nurse ? then tribunals have been awarded back ?
thanks again

I had the esa tribunal in the week and thank god it's over

I was awarded back what they gad taken away

one thing i'd like to warn people about is .the dwp told me the medical evidence I used for pip wasn't any good as it was a different benefit and couldn't be used for esa tribunals
it can
the dwp did not send my medical records with the medical reports I sent tjem to the tribunal
be aware of this
don't be as nieve as I was in trusting the nice person from d w p on the phone

thank you to the site for advice being there and listening makes hell of a difference
thank you .

Hi Soontjen,

I am very glad that your tribunal is now over and a decision was finally made in your favour! It often takes DWP up to 8 weeks to put this decision into action, you might be able to speed this up by sending them a copy of your award letter.
