Hiya, I still haven't received the back payment for wrag element. Would you know how long it usually takes for them to pay backdated money through. ? Are there any reasons why they may not pay? Thankyou

I would have expected you to have received your back payments by now, as it was the DWP who revised the original Decision there is no reason for it not to be paid. I would give them a call for an update.

I would have expected you to have received your back payments by now, as it was the DWP who revised the original Decision there is no reason for it not to be paid. I would give them a call for an update.

Sorry to keep harping on with same subject but I have phoned about 6/7 times about back payments now and still nothing. Is there anything else I can do as its now about7/8 weeks since I got letter . Thankyou

They just say they'll get somebody to call within 3 hours and when they phone they say they'll look into it every time. One lady said "you're not the only person on our list to check!!"

I've just spoken to dwp again and the woman said that I was turned down on 5th March for esa, I then asked for mand recon and the decision was changed to wrag from 8th April for 18 months but as the 52 weeks was gone I wouldn't get any money? But surely I'm entitled to wrag element for the previous 38 weeks after assessment stage ?? I've asked for someone else to phone and explain.
