As long as you reclaim within the 12 weeks you should be put back into the Support Group without problem, a DM may be involved, but the only Decision that has to be made is whether you are in time or not.

It Is possible that your having worked will trigger an early reassessment, so this is something to factor in, although I am sure that you are not looking for failure.

If you are not aware, you can remain on ESA and do Permitted Work for less than 16 hours a week, there's a guide in the ESA section.

Hi

I bit the bullet and decided to take a job for 20 hrs.

Signed off ESA.

How possible is it that my PIP claim may now be re-assessed and could

possibly lose it?

Closing your ESA claim should have no effect on your PIP claim.

Although you are not specifically required to tell the DWP in regard your PIP that you are now working, it may be to your disadvantage if you do not, especially if the work you are doing is at odds with your stated limitations in regard you PIP award.

Hi again

I am just trying to clarify what you have wrote.

I understand you are saying it is to my advantage to tell PIP I am now working but I don't understand the part when you say why I should?

Please clarify.

If for any reasons the DWP have concerns over your PIP award and look at your claim and you have not notified them that you have started working, then you may penalised for the failure to tell the DWP, the downside of your notifying them of your working is that it may result in a reassessment unless you can explain why it does not conflict with your limitations.

Hi

Thank you for your post.

I have informed DWP I have started work. That they are aware of it.

Are you saying I need to call the PIP enquiry line to say I have started work too for 20 hrs?
