Contact the BDC.

Nothing on this board constitutes legal advice - always consult a professional about specific problems

So do I ring new claims or the ESA BDC?

I called the BDC to make a complaint.
The agent said it was a technical issue with the system that it did not recognise it as a RR.
There was no end date input of my previous claim which resulted in the system not picking up a RR.
He also said when it came to processing the claim they should be able to see on the
system that I am re-applying with 12 weeks.
I called new claims and they pretty much said the same thing.
What do you make of this excuse or are they fobbing me off again?
It is almost certain I will be sent an ESA50 too
Regards

It sounds possible - but who knows where DWP is concerned?!

Is it worth putting in a formal written complaint?

I think you need to wait until you find out whether they will apply the Linking Rule.

This thread has been really helpful to me, thanks to all who have contributed.
I notice that one poster was told by a telephone agent that the ESA 50 is "normally sent 6 weeks before the end date of assessment".
May I ask if anyone has ever been sent a form more than 6 weeks before the end date of their assessment? (other than the scenario of a random reassessment which can happen).
Many thanks.
