They are expressing an opinion based on their knowledge that doesn't mean that it is correct for you, if you think that they have misunderstood how you are affected or that they have ignored important aspects of your condition, then you should consider challenging what has been said, but you will need to explain why you think that they are wrong.

Latest update -

ESA - mandatory update refused so now need to submit an appeal. This is infuriating due to the report being full of lies! This system is making my husband ill and myself worse, we sometimes wonder if it would be better just to step away from it, if only we could afford to!

Now going to start reading through the appeal information.

PIP - mandatory request sent, watching post again!

I'm sorry the MR did not change the decision - but not surprised as it is unusual for the 2nd Decision Maker to do anything other than 'rubber stamp' the first decision :(

Hi, can I just ask, would it be acceptable to send in to an ESA appeal a copy of my PIP assessment?

I wore the same clothes and was maybe a tad worse in my ESA medical yet the reports are on the opposite ends of the scales.

Thank you

Yes you can but you must link the PIP report to the ESA criteria for it to have any weight, although many of the activities appear to be the same, in the majority of cases the criteria are quite different.
