Medical for PIP

Hi everyone hope you are all doing well....i posted my form back for renewal of my ESA by registered post last Wednesday 14th will they confirm receipt of it? i am really stressed out and making myself more ill about it. After the stress of applying for PIP and only just having my medical 9 weeks ago i am not doing great.

You shouldn't expect a confirmation that your ESA50 has arrived, I'm afraid.

Thanks Mrs H what happens now? will it be similar to PIP possible medical or my hopeful option that i am still in support group without having a medical. I am hopeful that since i am recovering from chemo and radiotherapy surgery etc this will carry some weight and i also didn't need to complete the full form and my GP completed page 20 for me.
Can a ESA award be made without a medical have you heard of this happening?

It certainly is possible for an award to be made without a face2face! It is probably not the norm but it is not rare either.

If you do have a face2face the process will be quite similar to the one you had for PIP. What to expect is explained in the ESA guide.
