Hi a. c.

I have merged your query with the previous topic about your PIP. It helps us enormously when everything relating to the same claim is kept in one place.

I'm sorry that you did not get the mobility award you deserve :(

Other than ask for an MR, there is not really anything else you can do at the moment. Use our PIP guide to help you through the MP process

PIP help for claimants

I'm afraid that Motability will contact you quite soon and tell you how to return the car (or buy it off them), asking for MR does not change this.

Please reply to this message if you have further questions about your PIP and we will do our best to help. You will find it easily in future if you bookmark/favourite it on your web browser now :)

thanks for the info
I have today contacted motability about when the car will go back and they have told me DWP have not notified them as of today so I have arranged for them to collect it but because I have only had it less than 2 years there is now not a good condition bonus as it only applies to cars at the end of the 3 year term but I will get a pro-rata money refund on the down payment so it makes loosing the car even more harder

I put in my MR letter explaining why I think there assessment was wrong after following your excellent guides and have today been and had another face to face at a different location and it was a lot more productive than the previous one, today with a lady who was more sympathetic to my condition . I now have to keep my fingers crossed awaiting the dreaded brown envelope again . again many thanks for your excellent advice

Thanks for the update AL. It is not often we hear of a claimant having a second face2face assessment during the MR period.

I spoke too soon the face to face was for me being on sick for a long period . I have now received my M R reply letter stating no change and previous award still stands ( standard mobility award ) not enhanced

Sorry to hear this :( Are you going to appeal?
