You are not a nuisance at all! However, we haven't really seen many complaints to Capita so I don't know if this is the normal procedure.

Good evening ....

Received phone call early tjhois morning from the health advisory service cancelling my appointment for tomorrows ESA assessment.

Reason given was in light of recent circumstances???

Was told that if needed another assessment will be booked but noithing can be given right now

Is this normal? ( I was lead to believe pip and ESa are not linked, or are they?)

Its one thing after another!!

Kind regards

Hi toys,

A positive ESA report might be used to supply information for a PIP assessor (or vice versa). We have not seen this used to deny a claim.

Alternatively, it is possible that the Assessment Provider has now received information from else where - your GP for instance.

Update..
Received a letter today from capita complaints handler
stating that they have acknoleged my complaint and that they ( capita) are unable to independently amend the report .
it then goes on to say that they they will answer any questions that the DWP raise with the report if i go onto challenge the report with a MR

So basically they are passing the book?

How do i go about making a complaint about the nurse that did the report?

Is it now that i should contact my MP? or wait for a decision from the DWP ?

In all honesty I want to take the complaint as far as it will go regardless of the outcome of a decision made!

kind regards
T

Hi toys,

If this report were to be completed discredited you would, in effect, be in the position of not having had an assessment. So it's probably realistic to wait for the decision and then clarifying issues where necessary.

However, that is not the whole issue, is it? The issue is that the assessor did not behave in an acceptable manner in the way they wrote the report. Capita should still deal with that!

You can certainly take this to the nurse's professional body. I must warn you that they do not give much weight to complaints that the assessor has lost you money, so make sure you concentrate on the 'inaccuracies' for their own sake.

I see no reason to delay getting your MP involved now

Contacting your MP

Update
Contacted Mp , awaiting response
and
the postman brought me a brown envelope

turns out decision had bene made before my letter had reached them
Scored 11 points care ( standard awarded)
Scored 10 points Mobility ( standard awarded)

states that my anxiety is not treated nor do i have specilist imput
when infact I do SEE a clinical phycolist and have a letter from her to support my claim
as well as all the other faults in report and untrue statements

I rang DWP and was informed that I need to speak to a DM to lodge a MR requst
I asked weather I should write a letter for MR request and was told NO its not worth it
I certainly feel that I should put everything in writting, is this so?

kind regards
T
