Please help!

Im typing out a mantatory reconsideration request , i have stated that I have complained to Capita and will include a copy of the response i got . also stated the letter of complaint i wrote to DWP which has crossed with decision , again copy of which will be sent in with MR

When im Going thru the facts ( lies etc) that i dont agree with , do i quote everything on the medical report aswell as the DM reasons? (which of course are made the same as nurse report)

Should I quote everything again and state the real facts even tho I have already wrote and complained about it?

Thanks again , I dont know what i would do if i didnt have this site to keep me calm , you guys are great

Contacted Mp , awaiting response
and
the postman brought me a brown envelope

turns out decision had bene made before my letter had reached them
Scored 11 points care ( standard awarded)
Scored 10 points Mobility ( standard awarded)

states that my anxiety is not treated nor do i have specilist imput
when infact I do SEE a clinical phycolist and have a letter from her to support my claim
as well as all the other faults in report and untrue statements

I rang DWP and was informed that I need to speak to a DM to lodge a MR requst
I asked weather I should write a letter for MR request and was told NO its not worth it
I certainly feel that I should put everything in writting, is this so?

kind regards

Hi Toys,

I would be very surprised if you get the chance to speak to a DM about this! Early on, they used to phone claimants who requested a MR but we have not heard of this for a long time. The call centre staff have no direct contact to the DMs.

You don't need to give a lot of information to initiate a MR but, at some stage, you will need to show how/why you believe you should have scored points against the descriptors.

Hi Toys,

Try to keep the complaints separate from the MR. Discrediting the report will not, in itself, gain you an ward of PIP. You will only get that by showing how/why you score points against the descriptors. Don't waste time and energy disputing every bit of the report with which you disagree, concentrate on areas that will help you score the points.

The DM who does the MR will probably not have seen your complaint so you need to state everything again, don't assume that they already have this information.

It would be worth going through your PIP2 form, with the report and our guide in front of you, so that you can decide whether you believe you have made your point to the best of your ability.

Thanks Mrs HB

I have typed out a MR and havent argued over the report , I have however stated the activities that DM has given points or no points on and stated the points I think i should be entitled to and why ..Is this the correct way? and referred to my hospital support letters and names of consultants whom have provided certain key points in their letter

I have enclosed copies all letters of complaints sent this week and all my supporting evidence again ( it is stated on my pip award that only my "how my disability form affects you form")
I have also enclosed photographs to back up my claims of poor grip, swelling etc
Should I send photos of the aids I have? , which where shown to the assessor but not mentioned?

Is this the right way to go about it ?

I will make changes if needed and my better half will send it tomorrow ( recorded delivery of course!)
Hopefully I will get to enjoy some of the weekend ( I have had bad news every Friday for the past 5 weeks!)

Thanks in advance
kind regards

Yes this is fine.

I wouldn't bother with the photos of the aids, there is no reason for the DWP to doubt you have them or use them.
