Hi solitude,

I'm sorry to hear that DWP have messed you around like this :( I understand why you feel you cannot take this any further at the moment. We will still be here if/when you decide to reapply at any stage in the future.

You can re-visit the decision on appealing up to 13 months after the date the Decision was made although you will have to explain why the request is late, so if your health improves it is still an option, just make sure that you hold on to DWP letter about your MR.

Hi.
On appeal, I have been awarded the enhanced rate of mobility for agoraphobia.
The advice I got here was so helpful. My psychiatrist wrote a letter using the exact wording of the descriptor which says I can’t follow a journey without another person. I added that this applies for more than half of the year

Hi.
I got enhanced PIP mobility for agoraphobia after an appeal. My psychiatrist just wrote a letter using the wording of the criteria. Initially I was awarded less points because it was due to psychological distress, but I pointed out that it amounts to the same thing, and that for more than half the year I can’t safely go out n my own
