I have had the F2F, got the assessor's report which found in my favour. That was approx 3 weeks ago.
Just checked my voice mails on my old mobile and they phoned twice last week wanting me to call them back.
What could this be about? I am terrified....

I can't think of any particular reason they would be contacting you, you can either phone them back or wait for a letter.

Hi Benion

I got a call from the DWP and was wondering for days what it was about. I got the courage to ring them when leaving a few days and no letter had arrived and they had something good to tell me. I would suggest having a cup of tea, sitting quietly then just ring them and tell them you got a message to ring you
and LET THEM DO THE TALKING and tell you what they have to say.

Wish I had not put it off a few days so understand what your going through.
Also at least you will KNOW and it ends the uncertainty, you will feel calmer

Good Look

I've heard of members being phoned by the DWP to be given the result of the WCA, both positive and negative.

In 2011 I was phoned by the DWP to be told that my reconsideration had failed and that it would pass on to appeal. She then proceeded to ask questions about whether my health has improved. I reminded her that I stated on appeal that I do not wish to discuss the case over the phone and would rather any questions were put in writing. A week or so later they appeared to have changed their minds and the reconsideration was successful!

I don't know if she was fishing for information that could support a fit for work decision, but I would advise claimants to be extremely cautious about discussing your health problems over the phone.

Some people hear what they want to hear, and believe what they want to believe!
