I had a f2f WCA assessment in April, resulting in 0 pointd. I sent an MR and still 0 points. I then went to appeal and was awarded by the judge 18 points at the end of August. In between times I was told to go on JSA. I was due to sign on on 1st Sept after my court hearing, My disability advisor told me to go to the appt and sign on with him then I would get some money. He told me it was on the system about my winning appeal but if I had not heard from them in 2 weeks then to go back into JC plus (appt was made by him for this). I hadnt heard so went in to see this man who I think cocked this up. He closed down my jsa and told me to ring dwp, I asked him to sort it. He called a colleague and she said they would send internal email. I got home to phone call from dwp to say they cant find my new esa claim anywhere. I explained about appeal etc and she said it will be on system its ok. I got 6 letters 3 relating to jsa being closed 2 about esa and 1 to go to appt today to see wcadvisor. Shes told me my claim has started new from 2nd September......surely this isnt right it should continue from when I was knocked off in April?

It's likely that your JC+ advisor only has limited access to the information about your claim on the computer and all they can see is the your claim was being restarted from 2 September. There will be letter in the post explaining exactly what is going on and you need to wait for this, but your ESA should be backdated to the day after you were found Fit for Work.

Surely my claim shouldnt start afresh when I won my appeal? Why has it been started as if its a new claim?

You cannot have a live claim for both ESA and JSA at the same time. So your ESA claim would have been closed so that
you could claim JSA and vice versa. If you win your appeal, the claim will be backdated to the start.

If you are in the WRAG then I am afraid you are required to attend Work Focussed Interview and to participate in Work Related Activities although they must take in to account any limitations that result from your conditions.
