physical assessment report PIP was created by Diane10
Hi, I received my pip assessors report on Thursday. In it, apart from contradicting herself, she noted that apparently I managed to stand unaided and bend to 90 degrees! What I want to know is, because she didn't ask me to do this, is this allowable and expected, and if so, can anyone of you stand unaided and tip your upper body (I assume forwards, not backwards) to the 90 degree angle without falling on your face? I swear as far as physics is concerned this is physically impossible.
I have scoliosis, arthritis, crohns disease with a tube through my abdomen into my stomach for liquid feed and extreme fatigue with nausea and dizziness (which of course, she didn't mention once).

It may be that they are offering an opinion based on their observations of you during the assessment.

Playing Devil's Advocate, if you sat with your back straight then your legs would be at 90'

You don't mention the points that were recommended?

You'll need to wait for the Decision before you can take any further action which are taking about 7-8 weeks.

Wait a couple of days for it to be filed with the DWP. You can call or write to the DWP office dealing with your claim.
