ESA

Hi,

My last ESA was sent out to me in July 2013.

A decision was made in October 24th, 2013 from a paper based DM, therefore they obviously had received enough useful info that I sent them with the duly completed ESA form.
A 3 year break hurrah.!!!

I received a SOR later which stated long term no improvement and would get worse, etc etc.

My DLA to PIP was conducted later and I have been placed in the PIP enhanced both in mobility and care for an Indefinite period with the HCA stating on the form in the SOR, no need for further assessments.

I have been waiting for my re assessment for ESA, which has as yet not arrived ( bet it does tomorrow now !!!)
Now do I bite the bullet and contact them to see if they have any idea when they intend to assess me, or do I let sleeping dogs lie!!!
Post seems erratic on arriving in Dorset of late and am wondering if it has been sent, but not arrived or with a bit of luck, haa haa, they have decided not to send me one.

What do you think one should do, please .

The telephone number is on the link that Gordon gave you, above. I don't know whether they will speak to your husband without you first giving permission but there is nothing to lose by trying. Failing that, you could try emailing them - they replied to me promptly when I had occasion to contact them this way.

Ooops Sorry,did not read properly again !!!!

I have emailed them to ask if and when the next ESA should thud on the mat.

I included the date and Justifications etc from the last ESA report in 2013 and included the justifications etc from my DLA to PIP, Feb 2016 transfer which should help if they bother to read or need any of the info.

As they need to speak to husband/carer, I provided permission to do so in the email and his mobile number as there is no need to speak to any of the home carers if he is not around, lack of English!!!

I shall keep you posted as and when and if I hear anything.

Hi, I took your advice Mrs H, and emailed them from the email address listed
from the info link that Gordon provided above. However I am still awaiting a reply. I shall keep you posted.
