I started a claim for PIP some time ago, completed the How my Disability Affects me and am now due my assessment next week. However today I have received another PiP form (1007) in the post today ??

Is this normal ?

I would contact the DWP to ask why you have received this. You need to have the new form withdrawn by the DWP or you risk their procedures closing the claim if it is not returned.

To be clear there is no good reason why a new form should have been issued if you are already in the middle of an assessment process.

Hi Gordon

I contacted them about the form as suggested but was told they could see my file was with the assessors. Gentleman said to still fill it in so I said I was concerned re claim being disallowed as different dates but he said still fill it in - I suggested I put a covering letter with it to say re me f2f etc.

I can't say not to fill it in, but this is wrong! I would phone again and ask for a manager to phone you back.
