Hi hubby saw OT today and forgot to ask her if she would write a letter in supporting evidence for the help in and out the shower. In the meantime I had rang the DWP to say we would be sending more evidence into them, So I have rang the OT up to ask her and she said shes very sorry but they wont do them!. So my question is what do I tell the DWP now because I will have to inform them.

In your place, I might not say anything until/unless DWP ask.
I'm sure Gordon will comment if he thinks this is not a good course of action. . .

Surely they will want to know where the evidence is? The lady on the phone told me it is with a case worker but no letter had been sent out. So could that mean they have not looked at it yet? Thankyou

With a case worker/manager means that it is on their desk. Looking at it usually only takes a couple of hours or even less

With a case worker/manager means that it is on their desk. Looking at it usually only takes a couple of hours or even less

It might speed the process up, although they are not known for waiting for claimants evidence to arrive.
