Hi please can anyone advise me on my latest GP medical report for my ESA 50 reassessment form, unfortunately he misunderstood me and worded his letter (I am writing to provide supporting medical evidence for this man's claim for PIP). Will this report be accepted as medical evidence for my ESA reassessment as he also confirmed there is no change to my medical condition and dissbilities since my last assessment for benefit.
Also will I be able to use this report for any future PIP claim as I am now on DLA .

Thanks

Hi four and Welcome to the forum, you might want to have a look at the following FAQ which explain where everything is

Welcome to Benefits and Work

I will be honest and say that it would probably be better if the GP letter specifically referred to ESA. However, if all it says is that your problems have not changed, it probably won't do much harm.

I would expect you to be able to sue this in support of a PIP claim, as long as this happens in the near future.

May I suggest that you bookmark/favourite this on your web browser now so that you can find it easily in future? This will allow you to return with further questions or comments about your ESA without having to start a new topic each time. It helps us enormously when everything relating to the same claim is kept in one topic - and I hope you will find it useful too :)

Thanks for your reply, I want to clarify that my GP wrote a detailed report which listed my disabilities and the effects on my daily life but left out that I am suffering from depression, this is the only negative but confirmed that there is no change from my last medical report which included the wording (the resultant disability has caused him to suffer from depression). Can anyone advise does this reaffirm that I still suffer from depression.

It sounds likely but I'm afraid I cannot give you any assurance that DWP/Maximus will come to that conclusion!
