I'm afraid we don't have any current information on DLA waiting time, reassessments are now quite rare and we have only seen a couple in recent months in the forum. My best guess is that Decisions will be in the 7-8 weeks timeframe, however, this does not take into account any time that might be taken up waiting for an assessment if one is required.

DLA does not assess a claimants conditions but the care and mobility needs that result from them so it is unlikely that an assessor will have direct experience in your conditions although it is not impossible. The needs assessment is standard to all conditions, which is why it is important to explain your needs in detail on the claim forms.
