Don't assume that the call centre staff know what they are talking about
The First Condition requires the claimant to have a minimum of 26 weeks or NI Contributions in one of the two proceeding Tax Years. You say you have worked in 2015-2016
The Second Condition requires the claimant to have a minimum of 50 weeks of NI Contributions OR Credits in both of the two proceeding Tax years. You worked and received ESA in both of the required Tax Years,
