ESA Medical Postponed/Cancelled

I recently posted about my ESA medical assessment from form to receiving date about medical taking 9 months see link

Today I received a letter from capita saying that my medical on the 2nd November 2016 has been postponed/cancelled, no reason for this was given in the letter.

They say I will be contacted again about another appointment, but thats a bit contradictory as further down their letter it states that if I "need further information why you no longer need this assessment please contact Jobcentre Plus"

Anyone else have experience of this happening to them, if it helps I live in Scotland

In general, there are two reasons for assessment appointments being cancelled - either the appointment is no longer convenient for the assessors and another will be given or a face2face is no longer considered necessary now that the claim form etc has been scrutinised.

I'm afraid you will only know which of these applies to you by phoning, as the letter suggests.
