Assistance at PIP medical

Does anyone know if there are organisations who are able to provide someone to accompany someone to a PIP medical. All my family and friends either live miles away or work full time and cannot afford to take time off, and I wouldn't expect them to lose money because of me.

I went for my pip assessment alone in the end, which meant that I had to go on my scooter as I would not have been able to walk from the car park to the assessment room. The HP was a paramedic and was very pleasant and I felt it went ok but would not have been surprised if I had been turned down. I got my result last week, only 10 days after my assessment, and I have been awarded standard care and mobility, so I am relieved at that. Now I can de stress and stop waiting for the postman. Thanks for all the help on here it certainly makes the process easier.
