Hey.

I'm appointee for my son and have filled in the pip form and sent it off. On Friday we had a missed call from Capita, they didn't leave a message or try my mobile. Im just wondering because im assuming they are trying to call for a f2f. My concern is that my son is still in full time school and in the middle of gcse's which are stressful enough without all of this.

Do you know if the appointments are weekdays only as there is no way he would even get to a late appointment in the weekday as the bus that transports him doesn't get him home till about half 4.

Thanks in advance .

They do operate over the weekend but this may be specific to the office.

The best thing is to contact them that way you can arrange a mutually suitable appointment rather than them booking something on their own.

Update:

I called Capita today after receiving a standard 'what happens next' letter from them. I made a note of who i spoke to etc. He took note of what i told him and tried to find a home appointment for me but as none were available at the moment he said I have to phone up daily and request a home appointment..

This morning I phoned again for the third day in a row, having to explain the situation again and again, well after i called the postman came with an appointment letter from Capita for 7/11 at 11;45 am.. so i phoned again and explained AGAIN.. the woman on the phone said to keep the appointment booked otherwise it would go down as me refusing the appointment and i could only have one more offered. she said she will put in a referral to the booking department etc. I have a feeling that the 7th is going to come and there is no way i can take my son as he has an exam that week. besides the fact i shouldn't have to take him out of school anyway that they will show it as a refusal to attend even though i'm going to continue to phone daily.
