Hi I got my report from my home pip assessment I am abit taken back with the report as to what she wrote on some comments my husband made about my condition I had no sleep night before with pain and anxiety was really exhausted and refused to do exercises due to pain and fatigue the boxes witch was ticked my husband says scored 8 for living and 4 for mobility does the assessor make the decision and the dwp follow or agree with the points the assessor made

The DWP make the Decision, they tend to follow the recommendation of the assessor but we do see them changing the points both up and down. We are currently seeing Decision take about 7-8 weeks for PIP.

To much stress this pip 1 person sittin in with you for a hour then giving you points on your health what you can and carnt do look at you as though you are lying then write differant to what you tell them they not with you 24/7 how can the assume you are fit to do certain things when doctors consultants tell them otherwise in reports is it all worth the stress sorry for the rant
