So my work have screwed me over. Having lost my battle with a long term chronic illness I was given an ultimatum to either go or get fired. Perfectly legal. Got a solicitor involved etc etc. Small payout that won't go very far at all. I already receive the lower rate of both Pips and am still undergoing treatments for the illnesses with numerous procedures and operations still to go. Now I have to battle the Universal Credit roll out. I can't get a definitive answer anywhere. Turn2us.org wants to know intricate details about tax that I don't know. And the entitled to calculator won't calculate if you have Pip. So I don't know what is going to happen or what to do. Fact is... I am too ill to work. I spend each day dosing myself up on enough painkillers to function with some days so bad I can't function at all. I'm scared that they will chuck me into the job seeking group to find another job despite doctor and consultants wanting to sign me unfit for work... I'm absolutely terrified. I have literally lost everything... my house is going to be a struggle... my car is a salary sacrifice and is being taken away from me... I'm terrified... don't know where to start.

I would strongly recommend that you get face to face advice, do an internet search for "welfare advice" with your postcode, town or county.

Is your area Digitally Live for Universal Credit? If it is isn't and your GP is prepared to issue a Fit Note then you can make a claim for ESA, if it is then you can make a claim for ESA under UC. Have a look at the ESA Claim guides and the Mental Health one in particular if you are claiming under UC.
