Post F2F Assessment survey? was created by pathfinder2015
Hi Guys,

This is my first posting and am looking for a bit of advice if possible. I had my F2F last week at home and all seemed to go well. The female assessor from Capita arrived on time and was very polite. The assessment took an hour and twenty and although I was slightly anxious when she arrived I was soon put at ease.

My concern is that I had a telehone call this afternoon from a guy wishing me to carry out an over-the-phone survey regarding my assessment. The line was very quiet and I didn't quite catch the name of his company but he claimed that his company had been appointed by Capita to carry out these post-assessment surveys and it would involve answering around 10 questions. He also pointed out that the doing the survey was not compulsory. I didn't take the survey at that time as I made an excuse about needing to go out very soon and he arranged to call back tomorrow. I'm just wondering if anybody on these forums has been asked to do one of these surveys?

I would have assumed that my assessment appointment letter may have mentioned the possibility of being requested to one of these surveys or that my assessor would have mentioned it so I'm beginning to wonder how legitimate this survey is. I'm also a bit annoyed that my ex-directory home number has been released by either Capita or DWP to a third party for the purposes of this survey (if it is legit) without my permission. However, I also realise that it is important to us that assessors are accountable and this is a good way to ensure that claimants are treated fairly and with respect.

It's difficult to comment on the nature of the survey questions. If they are based solely on the assessors performance such as if they arrived on time, were professional etc etc then it can only be a good thing.

I would be pleased to hear from anybody who has been called and asked to complete a survey of this nature.

Thanks :)

This survey is a new thing, literally in the last week or two. Several other members have received the call. It is nothing to do with the assessment process and you do not need to participate.
