Mandatory Reconsideration Request Letter

There should be no problem with you submitting additional evidence only at appeal, the only issue you need to be aware of is that it must be clear that the new evidence applied at the time that the Decision was made, ideally the evidence needs to state this explicitly, but at the least it must be reasonable to assume this. Tribunals cannot consider changes in conditions or the effects of those conditions that have occurred after the Decision was made.

I rang DWP to check they have received and logged my MR request in time. I asked them if they had noted that I wish to send extra evidence and what date they had on their system for this to be in.
She checked and told me the revised date on their computer for getting my additional info in. They have given me 3 weeks. She actually checked my records before giving me this information.

Was this 3 weeks from the date on your Mandatory Request Letter, or 3 weeks from the day you phoned the DWP to check they had received your MR letter?

Presumably you have already told them that on your ESA50. They used my ESA50 to work out how much points I think I shoud have. Their DM put his idea of what points I should have at the side.Jonathan wrote: should I say what points I believe I should have been awarded. .
Bear in mind that if you tell them you are waiting for more evidence or information from them or anyone else, they will probably use this as an excuse for delaying their MR without telling you they are doing so.
