TOPIC: PIP

PIP 1 month 5 days ago #172693

Hello. My wife has just received the letter saying "Your DLA is ending" .... It states that she needs to call them by the 26th November 2016. Should we call them now or wait till nearer the 26th. If we call them near to the 26th this gives me more time to gather info etc....
All advice appreciated. Thank you.

There's no harm in you waiting although I would make sure that you call two or three days before the required date to take account of delays in getting through. You will receive a reminder three weeks after the initial letter.

Make sure you use the latest PIP Claim guide.

Regarding medical evidence. My wife was recently sent for a C T scan due to her condition. This came back as normal, thankfully. Is it worth including this, as I think the fact she was sent in the first place is evidence.
Thanks.

It's entirely your decision but it does not strike me as being supportive of her having problems.
