Anyone had HELP from MP ?

I contacted my MP and they have supported me right through to the end. They even arranged my meeting with the CAB. His office did say that they are getting more and more people contacting them. The help I got was fantastic. Hope this helps.

I contacted my MP via email on the 31 August 2016 regarding DWP received automatic reply. (No Support)

Sent another email on the 19 October 2016 to MP stating my disappointment and that I don't feel supported by my MP.

Received an email from MP office on 26 October 2016 apologising for delay in getting back to me and that a letter will be drafted on my behalf and sent DWP.

I needed that intervention back in September.

I contacted MP mainly to flag up that PIP assessment for mental health should be carried out by someone trained in mental health conditions. Had a call back within 2 days and was told they get a lot of people contact them.
I didn't ask for help just wanted to make them aware that ATOS assessments are not fit for purpose.

Hi, I had great help from my MP. As they say they have lots off people needing help now. This in a round about way is a good, a dark lining, in this not so silver cloud, they will be coming aware, that what was voted through has been highly detrimental to people whom need help.

My local MP was very helpful when i contacted them regarding my PIP appeal (DWP were saying they hadn't heard I had won the appeal from tribunals service and taking forever). GP emailed their complaints and when I nest rang DWP they had an urgent ,message in there to sort things out ASAP. Less than a week later it was all sorted out and back paid.

I had help from my MP to get a home visit from ESA and PIP. PIP kindly agreed to do home visit and ESA wouldn't as they said because I can get to hospital appointments for scans and see consultants., I couldn't have a home visit. Even though I am depressed I had to laugh at what they said ( do they take mri machines and x-ray machines and other equipment I had to have used to people's houses). My MP office helped me to the end which was great.
