Has anyone else had a long wait for DLA mobility payments to start after leaving Motability?

My lease with Motability finished on 25/9/16 and I'm still waiting for my DLA payments to start.
Motability said it would take 4-6 weeks and by my reckoning I should have received it by now?

I'm afraid you need to contact the DWP for an update.

Payments have started , thankyou for your reply Gordon.
5 weeks payments went into my bank a/c yesterday 15/11/16.
My motability lease finished on Mon 26/9/16 so presuming payments started the following week Tues 4/10/16 my reckoning is that 7 weeks money was due not 5, as £287.25 was paid.

Payments should be continuous. If you think you have missed out then I'm afraid you will need to contact DWP. Don't let the call handlers tell you that there are days/weeks when you were not entitled to be paid! Escalate the case to a manager if you do not get any sense initially (this will require a call back).
