Well glad that's over with! Totally unsatisfying experience that left me feeling there's an awful lot unsaid. Got lots more paperwork together for him that he indicated wasn't needed as there was already some submitted. He said I could submit to DWP directly if I wished . I did do a very comprehensive "how this effects me " form and there's medical evidence of a very long standing illness so fingers crossed.

Fingers crossed indeed! PIP decisions are taking between 4 - 8 weeks after the F2F.

Following a very unsettled night where my mind went over all that was said at the assessment, I've decided to write to DWP. I know you've recommended not being impolite about the assessor so will be bearing that in mind. But, he was not focussing on the issue of a neurological condition but the pain I get as a consequence. It's not the pain that stops me walking it's my bloody brain relaying faulty messages to the muscles in my legs!!
I'll also enclose further medical evidence and my diary notes that I painstakingly compiled and he didn't want! Maybe my brain will switch off this relentless striving to get adequately heard and I'll get a good nights sleep!

It's entirely up to you but your letter will have more force and relevance if you write it after seeing the assessment report. You can request this from the DWP office dealing with your claim.

I thought you might recommend waiting! So now I've cooled down and put it all on paper I probably will wait for the decison.
