TOPIC: Capita pip 2nd home visit

Capita pip 2nd home visit 2 weeks 3 days ago #173926

Hi Chris,

It is very unusual for the Assessment Provider (Capita in your case) to want a second assessment - which I think is partly why Gordon and I were confused!

I'm afraid I cannot offer any suggestions for why they might want to see you again :S

That's what got me surly the further evidence either backs it up or it disproves it.Maybe I am reading too much into the situation.

Forgive me but I am still not sure what is going on. Can you confirm.

The IIDB has nothing to do with your question?

You have had one assessment for PIP and Capita have now asked to do a second one?

Is this correct?

No IIDB has nothing to do with the question.I had a home visit from Capita on the 2nd November 2016 and then today had a phone call from Capita saying they had got some further medical evidence and to give my report a fair assessment they would like to visit me at home again on November 25th 2016.

OK Thanks for explaining. It's very unusual for the there to be a requirement to re-do an assessment report, where we have seen it the reason has been that the original report failed audit, if this is the case then Capita may be unwilling to admit that this has happened.
