HI,

I was reminded by my hubby last night................that i have dry eyes, not been bothered by it for a few weeks now, but i get it periodically, last episode was during summer/ autumn, it was awful, so painful, blurry vision, gritty etc.............so not nice.Used lots of eye drops, but only gave limited and temp relief, a lot of the time was spent either in sunglasses or with my eyes closed. Anyway, would the effects of this condition be considered in my PIP submission?..I do have a letter saying I have this condition after an examination and specific test was performed.

thank you

You would need to show what effect it has on your abilities to complete the PIP activities and also that you are effected on the majority of days.

Why is the question: How is your sleep pattern asked at the PIP medical assessment ? I ask, because mine is appalling, I go to bed around 10.30............takes about1.5 to get to sleep, usually then wake about 2......get up, go back to bed about 5-6pm. So, I am so tired all the time, which adds to my daily fatigue, caused by a central and periphal nervous system disease, my problem with sleep, is usual caused by pain (which, for some reason is worse at night) and worrying about a number of things. I dont want them assumming my fatigue is caused entirely by lack of sleep.

Thank you

As care at night is not considered, I would not expect the assessment to elicit any information about your sleep pattern.
