ESA(CB) will always be paid if the claimant is eligible but you may be entitled to an ESA(IR) top-up to your ESA(CB) depending on your personal circumstances. ESA(IR) is dependant on your household income, your savings and assets, and any hours that your partner works. See

If you think that you are eligible then you should contact the DWP and ask for an ESA3 form to be assessed for ESA(IR).
