Experience at assessment centre & result

I had to attend a new assessment at Wimbledon. My appointment was at 1130am and due to traffic got there at 1125am (still early). I was then told that the assessor had taken the next person in & that I would have to wait, which I did as I had to travel a way with a mate giving me a lift as I cannot use public transport due to MH conditions & I do not drive.

I sat in the anti chamber room as again sue to MH I cannot stay where it is too noisy with people talking (I have to wear headphones with music on them to block out noises) & due to a chronic knee condition I cannot sit down for too long.

After 1 hour I asked how much longer and the woman behind the counter said that she did not know but I could come back another day which I pointed out that I couldn't due to not being sure if I could get a lift again.

It took another 3/4 of an hour (in total 1/34 hrs before I was seen).

I was led into a room & told the assessor that I had a letter from my phychiatrist , counsellor, hospital etc but she said she didn't need to see them.

I told her that I had taken an overdose of tablets during the night & had vomited but she dismissed it, also explained that due to suicide attempts in the past I have to collect my MH & pain killer medication on a daily basis, which was evidenced by cuts to my forearms which she again dismissed. I had to keep getting up out of my chair during the 'interview' due to knee problem & her only advise for not being able to stand, sit or walk for long was to get a walking stick! The whole meeting took just over 11 mins.

Didn't find out till I went to see my GP the day after that she should have rushed me to hospital due to the overdose which my GP did for blood tests etc.

Needless to say the letter arrived saying that I had failed the assessment & when I challenged it I also failed the challenge they made no mention when I complained about the assessors attitude.
