Good morning newbie to this site. After pip assessment in which I was awarded the standard rate for daily living I have lost the motability part of pip. After handing car back on Friday I came home on Saturday to find a back to work appointment behind the door. I have been in the support group for four years and had a lifetime award for D L A. I was diagnosed with ms in 1995 and was retired from nursing. I found an office job within the nhs but again had to retire 10 years ago. The last 9 months have been a constant worry. Here's hoping this site will prepare me for yet another nightmare

You need to check with the DWP as to whether a Decision on your ESA claim has been made without you being aware, also, have a look at the following.

Thanks Gordon
Esa form submitted in April helped by cab. With having good and bad days with benign ms he put most of my answer as "varies". I feel that as I have lost the most ability it's been taken as read that I do not need to be in the support group. This whole process has had an effect on health and wellbeing and although I'm studying your site I really don't know where to start. Assessment in 3 weeks

So this is a new claim for ESA?

The interview is standard, I don't believe it is mandatory but you should check with the JC+ office.
