Using the word reliably on pip application was created by ladysusie
Hi, I've sent off my dla to pip questionnaire and am waiting for a response atm. Am I correct in thinking that the term "reliably" is a blanket description, covering safely, repeatedly and in a timely fashion? I (repeatedly!) used the term "reliably", after following the wonder guides, as without that, me and my carer wouldn't know where to start!!! Am,I correct thinking this, as I have used it in connection with many of the questions.... Obviously, it's too late to change anything now, but the obvious stress these forms cause, is making lots of my thoughts irrational.... In fact I am in acute mental crisis atm, and desperately trying to hold it together in case I get hospitalized again. Tia.... Just a bit of reassurance needed xx

Hi ladysusie and welcome to the forum,
The definition of 'reliably' is here -
• Safely – in a fashion that is unlikely to cause harm to themselves or to another person.
• To a necessary and appropriate standard – given the nature of the activity.
• Repeatedly – as often as is reasonably required.
• In a timely manner – in a reasonable time period.
I hope this is reassuring for you.
May I suggest that you bookmark/favourite this on your web browser now so that you can find it easily in future? This will allow you to return with further questions and comments about your PIP without having to start a new topic each time. We ask members to keep everything relating to the same claim in one topic as it makes our 'job' very much easier - and I hope you will find it useful too
