Can I stop my PIP claim was created by CaroB
HI,

I have received DLA for 7 years. I do not have a copy of that application form as I had a lot of help and support from the social worker attached to the specialist department treating me and he submitted it. He has left and not been replaced and the hospital have nothing on file and can no longer provide that help. Having rung and got form to claim PIP I now want to withdraw as I cannot face dealing with ATOS. What is best way to withdraw from the process?

I would encourage you to think carefully about this Decision, but if you are sure that you cannot manage the assessment process, then contact the DWP office dealing with your claim in writing and ask them to close the claim.

Thank you. Is it sufficient to say I wish to close the claim without further details.
