PIP Medical at Home was created by alicat
I have my medical at home on Monday. Im petrified, I keep having panic attacks about it. I'm being transferred from DLA Life Awards to PIP. I never had a medical for DLA so do not know what to expect. I'm so scared they'll say I'm not entitled. I know this is rediculous really because my feet are covered in 2nd degree chemical burns because I cant get down to my feet to look after them so decided to use this chemical peel stuff which is in socks and you leave on for an hour well I fell asleep and forgot about it for 5 hours so my feet have burns bandages on. I'm not safe on my own I'm just really scared of how to get this across. Thank you for reading.

Hi alicat,

I'm sorry that this is upsetting you so much :(

Have a look at the PIP guide, it explains what to expect from the face2face assessment. The process will be very similar wherever the assessment is held

PIP help for claimants

It is up to you who you have with you and in which room you want the assessment to be carried out. The assessor will not want to look round the rest of your home.

Nothing on this board constitutes legal advice - always consult a professional about specific problems
