Have just received ESA50 04/15 was created by trainingisgood
I am currently in the support group since 2014. I opened the letter today and became very distressed. Is this because of the governments new ruling or is there a time limit to being in the support Group. The letter says it is for capability to work. I have to fill the form in by 14 December 2016. I have not seem my doctor in a while and just request repeat prescriptions from him for my medication - will this go against me and would it be a good idea to visit him to may be support my claim.

Thank you

All ESA claims are reassessed on a regular basis. This is a full review of your claim, you need to complete the form in detail and supply evidence as you can to support your claim even if it is information that you have previously supplied.

Please make sure that you use the latest Claim guides as there have been recent updates to some of the DWP guidance for ESA.

Thank you so much for this reply and brilliant forum. Can I just ask would it be beneficial to have my doctor support my claim in any way. I tend to just ask for repeat prescriptions although my medication has been changed since the last assessment.

It's certainly worth asking but don't be too surprised if they refuse or say that they answer if the DWP contact them, it's very unlikely that the DWP will do this.
