This is an exception to the rule, claimants should expect robust questioning about there issues but it should not resemble the issues that cazzyclay had.

Being able to explain your problems to the panel on the day is the best way for a claimant to win there Tribunal.

Abby to be honest it did go against me and with retrospect now I wish i had gone in person - the judge did make noises at the start about how she didn't want to go down the telephone hearing route but not realising how bad it was going to be I hung in there thinking please don't postpone this again.
If i had gone in person they would of seen the state of me, and I have had a hearing in person for ESA before and it was painful but nothing compared to this, and did last 40 mins so i can comment from both angles.
If i were you i would consider going in person.
If i had my time again i would.
good luck xxx
