Had my assessment

Hi all,
Had my face to face assessment yesterday at 10 in the morning very very nerve wrecking . While waiting in the waiting area in walks to men one drinking a can of lager really didn't think they would allow that next there'll be people openly using drugs .
Besides thar the lady who seen me was very nice but can't remember much , I did remember to show her my new prescription that my G.P increased my meds the day before,also my new appointment to see my consultant for mental health which he phoned me the week before because I was really bad. I did forget to mention that I get up though the night and may fall or stumble because of my meds but did write it down on the form .
Now it's a waiting game for the brown envelope to drop so still very stressful period as many people will know , that and coming up to Christmas which is another stressful time for me because of trying to put on a happy face when friends n family come round , where all I want to do is hide away in my room .

ESA claims usually take 2-4 weeks from this point, whereas PIP letters can take up to 8 weeks.

Hi Helen I had my pip assessment two weeks ago and have already heard the dwp rung me ..she ask me a question to do with my claim ..than rung me the next day and told me that I have been awarded enhanced on both .. good luck and I hope u don't have to wait two long
