Hi, My Husband had emergency surgery just over 2 years ago and ended up with a Colostomy. He has been in the support group since applying and he has now filled out another pack of forms as his ESA is up for assessment, my question is will he have to be clinically examined as he is very concerned about this. He does not get many days or nights when his stoma does not come of or leak badly due to his very large Para Stoma Hernia. He is always having to change his clothes and we very often have bedding changes during the night. Do you feel he may still qualify for his support group. Thank you.

No he won't be clinically examined at best they may check the range of movement in his hands, arms and legs.

That will ease his worry some what. I just hope he can get across to the HCP that this is taking over his life!
