Having no medical evidence due to being discharged

I have cfs, and mental health issues. The cfs clinic discharged me long ago and I am not happy with the mental health service i.e. considering a discharge.

I have been ill for almost 10 years now and don't really see any major improvements. If esa or pip contact me in the future(in the case of esa this is currently once every 2 years), I will have no 'current' evidence to hand i.e. it will all be old evidence perhaps dating more than 2 years.

Will this work againts me for future esa and pip assessment/continuation and if so what would you advise? I know my GP takes over my care but I have barely seen the GP for these past 10 years and instead have been working with psychiatrist etc. I don't really see any reason why I'd see the GP regularly and it would probably be more difficult for me to maintain contact with the GP. However I am sick and tired of the psychiatrists but then again I doubt I'd get along with the GP either, they will probably also have less time for me.

In terms of esa/pip continuation/assesments, will the lack of evidence be an issue? What do you advise to people in above situation?

Having reasonably new evidence will usually assist with a claim but all is not lost if you do not have this available and many claimants do not, it just means that you need to spend more time explaining your limitations on the ESA and PIP Claim forms when you receive them.
