As it has only been a few days I am not surprised that you have not heard, if you are concerned that have not received your request then give them a call but it usually takes the DWP a minimum of 4-5 weeks to process an MR.

Did your MR request state that you would be supplying additional information?

If it did then the DWP will normally give you four weeks to submit any additional information that you want although in practice the period is less than this as at the least you need to include postage time.

If you haven't told the DWP that you would be submitting more information then you run the risk of them making a Decision on the MR before you have had a chance to submit anything.

Either submit the letter now or if you plan to send anything when you receive the assessment report, then write to them to say that you will be doing this, remember you will only, at best, have four weeks from the date they received your MR request.

Hi, I have received my MR letter with an explanation for not revising the decision. With regard to many of the facts reported by the HCP they bear no relation to the answers I gave at the time, unfortunately I did not have it recorded, I find it hard to believe that one can be misrepresented in such a way by people in such a position, I did have my partner with me who witnessed my assessment. I feel completely let down by a system supposedly there to protect people even though I know that is not how it is in reality. Anyway I feel I must try to get an appeal off, I have until the 19th of the month.

Having already asked for all the information they used in the original decision and posting the letter to be signed for on 10 Feb they claim to have received it on 10/5/17 and say they will provide it within forty days of their receiving it, by the 18/6/17.

My question is what should I include in my letter of intent to appeal? Re letter of submission etc. with regard to not having all the information they used to make the initial decision and not having a copy of my ESA 50 to refer to until they send it to me. Hope this makes sense and thanks in advance for any help you may be able to give me
