INDEFINITE DLA TO PIP

When you are invited to claim PIP from DLA, you can choose to use your previously submitted evidence/information, or you can start again with new information, I may have misunderstood but if that was to be the case and my DLA was awarded indefinitely, what would be the best thing to do, bearing in mind all the changes and what would have scored points back then might nor score points now, I'm so confused. I would very much welcome your feedback and to hear about your experiences, thanking you so much.

Yes, when you phone up to initiate the PIP claim you will be asked if you want your previous DLA paperwork to be used.
This could be helpful if your condition has not changed and the DLA documents are still relevant.
However, DWP have a practice of destroying paperwork after a certain period of time so we always suggest that the claimant submit anything/everything they want DWP to consider.

It's possible that the information is no longer available.
Our recommendation is to supply all of the evidence you want those assessing you to review with the PIP2. You can get copies of your previous DLA information, if you do not have copies yourself by making a Subject Access Request.

Only I would rather leave that alone until they are ready for me but on the other hand I wouldn't have time to get the colours from them if I wanted , are you with me or have I really confused you now? Sorry x
The DWP staff who handle SAR's have nothing to do with the invitation process for PIP.
