Enhance premium was created by Merrygirl
Hi
I have read on a few post about disability premiums. I am in the support group from esa and on enhanced rate for living and mobility for pip. I do have a partner, I do not think that I am receiving a premium. Also not sure if my last question is pending but if I was to stop my meds for my conditions because they are not working ( doctor has agreed that I could do this ) would it effect my pip or esa in future, also unable to take anything stronger than paracetamol or ibuprofen, so be living in pain as I am now while on meds

To receive any Premium you need to be eligible to receive the Premium and entitled to payment.
Being in the Support Group means you will be eligible for the Enhanced Disability Premium, however, you need to be receiving Income Related ESA for it to be paid. ESA(IR) is dependant on your household income, your savings and assets, and any hours that your partner works. See
Asset rule for ESA(IR)
24 hour work rule for ESA(IR)
If you are receiving ESA(IR) already and not the Premium or you think that you would be entitled to ESA(IR) then you need to contact the DWP about it.
