New information from doctor

I am at the stage of waiting for a response from dwp within 28 days, their time is nearly up but I have recently received a report from my rheumatologist in support of my claim, I've already handed in my doctors medical report. My question is shall I send dwp a copy of the new report or wait till the tribunal? I think they have a week left but may get an extension from what I've read on here I shall send in the new report to the courts beforehand...
Do you think it would make much difference to their response or is it too late?
Thank you

Welcome to the forum, you might want to have a look at the following FAQ which explain where everything is
Welcome to Benefits and Work
I gather from your post that you are in the process of appealing. What benefit are you appealing and was any award actually made?
As you have requested an appeal and it has been accepted you must only now communicated with the Tribunal Service, they will forward on to the DWP any information you wish to provide in support of your appeal.
I would wait until you receive the DWP before you send in your own submission the Appeal but you can begin to prepare it now.

Are the CAB helping you with your appeal or are you doing this on your own?
Whilst you do not need to make a submission to the appeal it's usually to the claimants advantage to do so as it allows them to address any issues raised in the assessment report and to fill in any "holes" in your own evidence and explanations of why you meet the PIP assessment criteria.
